As you're
uploading your episodes, we want to help you make sure that everything sounds great, looks polished, and is ready for your listeners. Here are some tips and best practices!
Upload a supported file type: For audio episodes, you can upload nearly any
file type to Buzzsprout. But you’ll have the best results with a WAV file or a high-quality MP3 file. If you have a video podcast, you can upload either MOV or MP4 files.
Use Magic Mastering to improve your audio: Buzzsprout can automatically make your audio episodes sound better with
Magic Mastering. This costs a little extra, but it sounds great and cuts out a ton of editing for you! You'll need to enable it before you upload your episode.
Have Cohost AI create your episode details: If you enable
Cohost AI on your account, we'll create your episode details for you. You'll just upload your file, and Cohost AI will give you episode title ideas, draft an episode description, define chapter markers, draft a blog post, prepare three social media posts, and transcribe your episode.
Sharpen your editing skills: Focusing some time on your recording's quality will drastically improve the final product. We have some resources to help you out:
Proofread your episode details: Check your episode details for any spelling errors before publishing. You can always edit the episode details later, but a few minutes reviewing your content before publishing will give you the best first impression!
