In this episode I discuss the early stages of the internet and how things have transformed from then and now. A trip back in time so to speak when the internet was hourly! I also talk about domain names and Paul Mockapetris, the creator of domain names.
The first web page went live on August 6, 1991. It was dedicated to information on the World Wide Web project and was made by Tim Berners-Lee. It ran on a NeXT computer at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, CERN. The first webpage address was http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html
